• Professor Du leads the Digital Health and Biorobotics Laboratory (DHB Lab) and has served as the director of the industrial team at the Medical Device Innovation Center (MDIC) at NCKU. The mission of the DHB Lab is to create innovative, timely, and high-quality clinical solutions, with a focus of product commercialization.

• As of 2024, Professor Du has been the principal investigator for more than 55 government projects in Taiwan (total funding of approximately $7.8 million USD), 49 industrial projects (total funding of approximately $1.1 million USD), and 7 technology transfer cases (total funding of approximately $0.1 million USD).

• He has authored 68 publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and contributed to 2 book chapters.
